    It works fine, comes with a case.

A clarinet has 5 pieces, and there is only one way the pieces fit together so it's really easy to ensemble. Some clarinets have better sound than others, but at the beginning it doesn't really matter, you just want a clarinet to take a middle school class in the school band, so any sound it's okay. The pads are not too expensive to repair, and all instruments require some maintenance for better performance. I saw some brand new for $599.00
