FORTE

When you listen to music, you hear different volume, sometimes is really soft or sometimes is very loud. To express feelings or emotions you need dynamics, make the music softer or louder. In music you use Italian words to write dynamics, and the abbreviation for the Italian words is just one or two letters. When the music is loud you write the letter "f" for "forte" that means loud in Italian. The "f" looks like this.

When you see that symbol under the notes, you have to play those notes loud. And you keep playing loud until you see something different.
